بندر چابهار در یک نگاه
بندر چابهار در بخش شمالی دریای عمان به دلیل بهره مندی از موقعیت استراتژیک جهت ترانشیپ و ترانزیت کالاهای بنادر حوزه خلیج فارس و افغانستان و آسیای میانه نقش ویژه ای می تواند ایفا نماید.
موقعیت استراتژیک این بندر و قرار گرفتن آن در محور توسعه شرق کشور، باعث شده است تا سازمان بنادر و دریانوردی، تدوین و اجرای طرح جامع توسعه آن را در قالب برنامه میان مدت در دستورکار قرار دهد. از جمله این برنامه ها می توان به احداث دو پست اسکله کانتینری به طول 640 متر و آبخور 16 متر و 3 پست اسکله چند منظوره به طول 580 متر به عمق 14 متر و لایروبی 17 میلیون متر مکعب تا عمق 16 متر و استحصال اراضی به میزان 195 هکتار اشاره کرد.
این بندر توانایی خدمات انواع کالا اعم از عمومی، کانتینری، فله، مواد نفتی، کالای عمومی لنج ها، آب رسانی به شناورها و نگهداری و پردازش کالا را دارد.
